FCAB is a company with over 120 years of providing transport services in Northern Chile. It was established in London in 1888 when British capital Huanchaca Company acquired the railroad and all rights that the company remained in that year. Today, the Group is part FCAB Antofagasta PLC. Its rail line climb from from sea level to over 4,500 m (14,764 ft), while handling goods traffic totaling near 2 million tons per annum.
